Welcome...to the Continuation of the Secret History of Philip Jose Farmer's Wold Newton Universe

In 1972 and 1973, Phillip Jose Farmer published two world-shattering books...Tarzan Alive and Doc Savage: His Apocalyptic Life. The books detailed the geneaology and stories of Tarzan and Doc Savage, placing them in a family of people descended from witnesses of a meteor strike in Wold Newton that occurred in 1795. This "Wold Newton Family", containing famous figures such as the Scarlet Pimpernel, Sherlock Holmes, Professor Challenger, and Indiana Jones, soon ballooned into a Wold Newton Universe (WNU), a secret world containing any numbers of fictional twists and turns. It was thus that the Secret History of the Wold Newton Universe, written by Dennis E. Power, David Kennedy, and others, was born. The Secret History detailed and explained many connections in fiction, bringing figures such as Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, and Daredevil into the WNU, in logical, reasonable ways.

This site hopes to continue that mission, which has now been offline for almost ten years.

In these esteemed halls we hope to explain the Crisis on Infinite Earths, the Secret Wars, Infinite Crisis, and much, much more--and we're glad you're along for the ride.
